II. Introductory Provisions and Definitions
2.1. These Terms and Conditions (hereinafter “T&C”) govern the legal relations between the operator of the accommodation facility Penzión v stráni, Zuzana Kršteníková (hereinafter “Penzión” or “Provider”) and the client (hereinafter “Guest”), which arise when booking accommodation and services through the online reservation system at www.liezky.sk.
2.2. By submitting an order and checking the agreement with the T&C, the Guest confirms that they have read, understood, and agreed to these terms.
III. Ordering and Contract Conclusion
3.1. The Guest selects services and available dates in real time through the booking system.
3.2. The contract is concluded upon confirmation of the reservation by the Provider and payment of the accommodation price or deposit according to the chosen terms.
3.3. The Guest is entitled to the services properly selected and paid for in the system. Additional services may be ordered subject to current availability.
IV. Payment Terms and Prices
4.1. Prices for accommodation and services are listed in the booking system and include VAT.
4.2. Payments can be made as follows:
- OOnline card payment (CardPay/GP webpay): Payment is made via a secure payment gateway.
Selecting this option requires full or partial payment of the reservation as a condition for
confirmation.
- Bank transfer: According to the details provided in the order confirmation
4.3. If the Guest does not pay within the specified period, the reservation will be automatically cancelled.
V. Delivery Conditions (Provision of Service)
5.1. Delivery of confirmation: Upon successful payment, the Guest receives a confirmation email (voucher) at the email address provided in the order. This email serves as proof of purchase.

VI. Cancellation Policy and Refunds
6.1. The Guest may cancel the reservation at any time before the start of the stay. Cancellation must be made in writing (email) or via the booking system interface.
6.2. Cancellation fees: The amount of the fee depends on the time of cancellation prior to the planned stay:
- Cancellation more than 60 days before arrival – no fee
- Cancellation 60–7 days before arrival – 50% of the stay price
- Cancellation less than 7 days before arrival or no-show – 100% of the stay price
6.3. Refund conditions:
If the Guest is entitled to a refund (e.g., cancellation within the free cancellation period or partial refund), the Provider will return the funds as follows:
- Refunds will be made via bank transfer to the account from which payment was received, or to the
account specified by the Guest in the cancellation request.
- Refunds will be processed within 14 days of receipt of the cancellation notice, provided all
necessary details (IBAN account number) have been submitted.
- Applicable cancellation fees under section 6.2 may be deducted from the refunded amount.
VII. Complaints
7.1. Complaints are handled according to the Penzión’s Complaints Policy. If dissatisfied with services, the Guest may submit a complaint immediately at the reception or in writing.
VIII. Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR)
8.1. If the Guest – a consumer – is not satisfied with the complaint handling or believes their rights have been violated, they may contact the service provider requesting remedy.
8.2. If the provider responds negatively or does not respond within 30 days of receipt, the Guest may submit a proposal for alternative dispute resolution in accordance with § 12 of Act No. 391/2015 Coll. on alternative dispute resolution for consumer disputes.
8.3. The competent authority for alternative dispute resolution is: Slovak Trade Inspection (SOI), Central Inspectorate SOI, Department of International Relations and ADR, Prievozská 32, 827 99 Bratislava, email: ars@soi.sk or adr@soi.sk.
8.4. The Guest may also use the online platform for alternative dispute resolution available at: EU Online Dispute Resolution Platform.
IX. Personal Data Protection (GDPR)
9.1. The Guest’s personal data are processed in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Act No. 18/2018 Coll. on personal data protection.
9.2. Full privacy policies, including data subject rights, are available in the separate document “Privacy Policy” published on the Penzión’s website. The Guest acknowledges that their personal data are processed for the purpose of fulfilling the contract (reservation of accommodation).
X. Final Provisions
10.1. These T&C and related legal relations are governed by the laws of the Slovak Republic.
10.2. The Provider reserves the right to amend or supplement these T&C.
10.3. These T&C are effective as of January 1, 2026.
